The casino
The Casinò di Sanremo opened in 1905 and remains one of Italy’s best-known historic casinos, hosting cultural events and concerts alongside its gaming rooms.
Where to stay
Book a seafront hotel or one near the Corso degli Inglesi, so the casino, harbour and old town are all on foot.
Beyond the tables
Explore the steep medieval lanes of La Pigna, cycle the seaside path laid along a former railway, or follow the coast road to Monaco.
Getting there
Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is about an hour by road. Sanremo station is on the line between Genoa and Ventimiglia.
